Called saying they were Medicare offering joint support products. Knew name and address. Asked for Medicare card to send device. Didn’t have so they asked for social security number. That’s when I knew it was a scam. Should have known when they asked to describe pain from 5-10.

I keep getting phone calls about medicare giving me a free back or knee braces. The first one I stupidly believed, but then they kept calling and asking for the same information over and over and when I refused to answer, they would hang up. Also when I actually accused them of a scam, they hang up. They are call me at least 5 times a day from different phone numbers with different area codes. The most recent was 10 minutes ago with the phone number I listed here.

A man keeps calling my elderly parents landline telephone stating he is with medicare and my mother is eligible for free back, hip and knee braces. My mother has been diagnosed by a Neurologist with Alzheimer's disease. One day she answered the telephone when my dad was out of the room and the man called and she gave the man her information and she received back and knee and hip braces in the mail twice (2 times) so far. Since she gave the man her information and received the braces, the man keeps calling their home. My father keeps telling the man he is not interested in any braces and do not call back. The man is persistent and sometimes calls up to 50 times a day and has called my father a XXXX. The telephone number changes with every call when this same man keeps calling, sometimes disguising his voice. The knee braces came from Greenleaf Medical Supply, 1409-G Plaza West Rd. Winston Salem NC 27103. The phone number showing online is 336-705-0610. The tracking number from this last package is UPS 1Z971F7Y4237212593.
