PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. We ordered 2 Paint-by-number kits from this BOGUS company on April 1, 2020. Received an email notification that our kits were shipping but no tracking number. Have sent several emails to this "company" over the last month or so and, CRICKETS! Makes me utterly sick that people take advantage of people during this Pandemic when all we are trying to do is find something fun to do with our families. Has anyone reported them to the BBB? What else can we do to get the word out about this ruthless "company"?

Very aggressive advertising on FB for paint-by-numbers prints, takes your money and you receive an order number with confirmation email that is not trackable and fraudulent. Never received the product months after ordering it, but money cleared account right away.

Mine is same as below. Ordered late March and now mid may. Took money, sent confirmation with no shipping number. Replied to one email with the website to track order but no shipping or tracking number and they haven’t replied to any of my further emails. Don’t use them

I placed an order on March 26th, 2020. So, it's been 2 months already and the package never arrived. I received an inquiry as to how do I like the product. How could I know if I haven't received it. I emailed them last week asking for the status of my order and I didn't get anything from them.

I placed an order on April 10, 2020. Was told order would be delivered within 30 days, it never arrived. About 3 weeks after I placed the order, I received an inquiry as to how do I like the product. I replied that I never received it. So on April 30, 2020 I received an email notice supposedly from Max Novelty as follows: "Customer care is Max Novelty's top priority and we reply to all our customer support emails within 24 hours. Unfortunately, due to the extremely high volume of incoming emails, we might not get to your query within the promised 24-hour timeframe. Some emails tend to bounce back to us, and our clients think we might be ignoring them (which is most definitely not the case!). Please do not despair. We're working hard to answer everyone's questions and WILL get around to yours soon. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Ordered 3 painting April 14th, 2020...no tracking number, no replies from company, tried to email them again nothing. My card was immediately run and still its been 6 weeks and still nothing. I find its amazing how many of us got scammed and I feel pretty stupid for falling for it on FB!

Add me. Ordered March 31 and still nothing. Was sent a tracking number on April 24 that doesn't exist. Requested refund I'm so fed up & no response. That's what I get for not checking the company's location... located in Hong Kong and there's no way to call. I'm so pissed.

I placed an order almost 2 months ago . I have wrote them 4 times about a refund and they never answer. If i didn't know any better id say it was a scam but its just a terrible ran business.
Its so bad that Better Business Bureau has a whole file of complaints & patterns.
Im pretty sure the are still taking peoples money even if they are sold out and they refuse to communicate with the costumer

I placed an order on March 31, 2020. They deducted my account the money and I've never heard from them again. They do not respond to emails. It appears they are also known as Dog Groomers Rock also an online store. The better Business Bureau shows the owners name is James Alderman. This business is a scam.

It looks like this company is really Dog Groomers Rock from Rhode Island. They are also an online seller and can only be reached by e-mail. I wonder if they ever ship their product. The BBB shows the owner as James Alderman. This guy is a scammer! I never received my order from max Novelty and I'm sure I never will. Lesson learned.

I can't believe I fell for this scam! I ordered 3 kits on 4/2/2020 and have gotten nowhere with my email requests for updates. My grandkids were excited to have something to look forward to when the quarantine first started. What an awful thing to do to people! The tracking method is ridiculous. Shame on you, whoever you are! I sure would like my money back.

Back in the beggining of march I purchased 2 paint by number. I have emailed several times an get a generated email back. They have already charged my credit card , an I have not received anything yet !

How can Facebook post a scam company like this? I am a senior citizen and really can't afford to lose the $80.00 I invested in 2 framed paint by number paintings. I have been sending emails, with no response. This is extremely frustrating!
