Mavis still at scamming

I came across an Instagram post from this person who said that they had won the lottery and it was too much money for them and they wanted to help people. If you needed help email them and they would help you, so I did and the first thing I had to do was to go out and get a $100 Apple Card, because she was working with Apple to give out the money. I told her that I didn’t have the money because I was out withCOVID and I hadn’t been working. But I went ahead and scraped up the money to buy a $25 gift card and sent the information and pictures she needed for the card. When they put through some type of authorization it didn’t go through, so they asked for more money, but again I didn’t have it. I had goggled the person and she did exist, but I kept getting a funny feeling about it especially when they asked for my bank log in information. Then I knew for sure they were not real. Thank goodness I only lost $25.00.

You have to be very careful and you can Google anyone's name and they will show up if you Google yourself you will see that you will to exist if you Google someone you sometimes have to word it like for example is Mavis L Wanczyl lottery Sweepstakes winner giving away money or is it a scam and you should get when it shows up. It's something like this, photos below

- Valley, AL, USA

Message came to my phone stating the lottery winner was giving to charities and donating to 200 people and I was chosen. The said lottery winner probably is a lottery winner, I haven’t checked because I received one of these years ago and the person was a lottery winner, but her phone number should not start with a +. Then there’s an agent you have to contact with a regular US phone number. However after contacting the agent, he asks you to go to Walmart, CVS, Target, any store you can get US prepaid cards to send in order to claim your winnings. I know now these are scams because if you were chosen, why would you pay a fee in order to get your winnings? Thanks for your time I just want to make others aware of this scam because as we are reeling from a pandemic it’s easy to fall for easy money get rich schemes.
