I made a purchase online at Matein LLC for hand sanitizer. I was charged $19. for 5 small packages of 50 ea. I placed this order on March 31st. I received an email from Matein saying my order had shipped but after a month I had still not received any product. I contacted the company and asked where the product location was and when I would receive it. I didn't get any specific information. I contacted them several times and I got the same run around. As I needed these for the COVID 19 and at the time they were the only ones that said they had stock. In the meantime others received stock and I was able to purchase hand sanitizers while I still had no definite information on the Matein order. I sent an email asking to cancel the order, which they did not want to do. I finally filed a complaint with PayPal to investigate this order and process a refund. Shortly after placing the complaint with PayPal I received the order on June 3rd. So May 31 to June 3rd and no indication of when I would receive the order.

I made the purchase online for hand sanitizer. When I realized 60ml is about 2oz for $7.99(I ordered 15), I sent this email to the support email listed on my receipt from PayPal. This was done approximately 2 hours after the purchase.

I received a response. Customer service said I needed an “order ID number” (which is not provided to the consumer). After 10 emails back and fourth I left it in their hands and file a complaint with PayPal about the service return policy and conduct. Today (2 days after the purchase) customer support emailed me that the product has shipped and provided me with the magical Order ID #. I requested a customer service phone number which I never received. I also feel they are price gouging ($7.99 for 60ml). Since the product has shipped,I have asked for a RMA which they say in their website is required to make a return. I have not yet received it. I was originally looking for wipes but received a side slide in pop up advertising the special on hand sanitizer. I would like my money back and I would like the company investigated for illegal price gouging.
