Hi when my husband went to log in to our home desktop pc and could not log in to his user account, these scammers repeatedly began calling our house phone on Thursday June 17,2020 inquiring if we needed assistance with our computer and if we were having issues with logging in. We said no and ended the first call but then we kept receiving calls from different caller ids and from different different people all inquiring about the same thing. We finally accepted Marquee IT LLC’s help and they unlocked my husbands account so he could gain access to the computer to pay our bills. The scammers from Marquee IT LLC said their fee for unlocking my husbands account was $199.99. As soon as my husband had access to the internet through his account the first bill he paid was Marquee IT LLC. The next day Friday June 18,2020 when my husband went to log in to his user account it was locked again. By this time we began to realized we had been scammed. When my husband logs in to his Microsoft user account from another device he has no issues logging in. When he tries logging in to his main desktop pc with his user account his Microsoft credentials and password will not work. The ability to utilize the forgot password hyperlink has also been disabled. We believe not only did these scammers get our money but we believe they now have access topic bank accounts and passwords and all that my husband accessed online.
