I was contacted via email and text regarding a job opportunity for a stay-at-home data entry position. The interview was conducted solely online over google hangouts (they also suggested yahoo messenger). I interviewed with someone named Mark Morrison. After being "hired" I was informed that they would be sending me a "Company Cheque" which I was to deposit in my bank, keep $100 as a signup bonus, and use the rest to purchase needed materials from the only vendor they trust. The pay rate seemed too high, and the job too good, so I did some research and found they were not associated with the actual company and that others have been scammed out of thousands from this person or people.
