My mother was contacted by text that she ha $300,000.00 in winnings by Marie Williams and they needed a copy of her drivers license and social security card to verify that she was indeed who she said she was. They told her not to tell her family or anyone until she had the check in hand and they were going to deliver it. They asked her to prepay the taxes and fees ahead of time so they could give it to her free and clear. My mom complied in multiple payment plan and was never given the money. We have filed police reports, bank fraud, adult protective services, and FTC. This preying on senior citizens is horrible.
