There was an email within my organization saying someone’s father died and wanted to gift a piano, we just needed to pay for the moving. I went for it and they gave the “mover’s” info to contact. They said I’d have to pay $415 to have it delivered. Then a day or so later they said that it was held up because I needed to pay insurance, refundable once delivered. I didn’t pay that. When you look at the website, most of the links go nowhere and if you look up the company there’s no information. I’m so mad at myself for falling for this. I want my $415 back. I paid it on Zelle.

Approached via email from within my university for a piano to go to a good home after a father's death. Was connected with a moving company to have it delivered. Moving company website appears fake. Contact from moving company was manipulative stating to pay first come first serve because others are waiting to get the item. Tried to ask for deceased name and city but no reply. Email from "son" does not match his name. Corey Albert and email is [email protected]
