I received a letter with the letterhead Halstead Financial Services. It said that LVNV Funding had purchased my PayPal acount from Synchrony Bank. It said I owed $548.83. I did some digging and a woman at the phone number they gave said I bought an oil filter on December 24, 2019 from Ebay and used my PayPal account. I never purchased an oil filter and I have never used Ebay. They said they had been sending letters to an address in Oakland. I had never lived at that address. The woman said she would send me docs to fill out to complain. The documents asked for my social security number, my DL Number and other personal information. How do I get these people off my back? None of this makes sense.

Claiming that I owe them $8,557.67.

Never have I opened an account that they’re claiming I owe on. No information on so called debt on mail sent to me. They seem to send this every 4 or so months.

Also, there is nothing on my credit report stating this money is owed.

They say I owed a bill from over 10 years ago. First I have never had a sprint or Nextel phone. I have not been able to work when they say I had this bill. I don't know how they got my name or addrees. I would like to see where I signed a contract with eathere sprint or Nextel. I will not pay this bill of $855.99. until they can show me a contract.
