Same person did the same thing to me on August 9, 2021. His name he said was Robert Smith but the Zelle account name was Carlos Rico. He said it was his son's name. Same phone number 720-770-3118 for text but did not answer the phone. I immediately cancelled and reported the fraudulent spam transaction with my bank within hours after sending Zelle. The address he gave was 1085 Hunter's Ridge Dr. Colorado Springs, Colorado 80919. Website address is https://www.energeticfrenchbulldogs.com.

I also noticed he used a Pinterest photo of "Sophie". He sent pictures using a child holding the puppy "Hugo". They are PET SCAMMERS for FRENCH BULLDOGS.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

I reached out about a French Bulldog I wanted to purchase a man named James Brutler responded saying the dog was available. I asked for a phone number and was given the number 720-770-3118, when I called it a man answered the cell phone who could barely speak English and never mentioned a company name. I asked about the dog and all further correspondence was via email. I was given the persons name to transfer funds through Zelle, which after the second attempt the payment went through. This name was not James Brutler but instead a Kiara Jefferson. Once funds went through I kept following up asking for shipping information. Finally today 7/13/2021, I received an email saying he was taking my puppy to the agent and the puppy would be shipped and that I would receive shipping information, after that email, I never heard back from this Mr. Brutler and I then dealt with a shipping company that was not legitimate called Expressway Shipping. Supposedly this company is in Colorado but the telephone number was from Canada and the man spoke broekn English just like James Brutler. Beware these companies are scammers and take innocent peoples money. they do not want to work for a living because they want to steal. Please beware
