I was looking to purchase a puppy from Lil ozark farms , a site I found online while searching for a dog breeder . I reached out initially via email and got a response immediately, asked a few questions .I called the following day and spoke supposedly to the owner , Ashley ******* . At first she answered my questions about her farm. Years of being a breeder , stats about the puppy, I inquired if they were a member of bbb, she denied and said it costs money to join? She was selling her puppy for 1600. I then asked about her website , the policy page was missing and she said she hadn’t gotten around to it . I began to question the authenticity of her farm , she said she was breeding since 2008 , it’s 2021 and she hasn’t updated policies , I inquired about payment, she needed 300,00 upfront to reserve the puppy and the remaining 1399 plus 400 for shipping after she took the puppy to the vet , I was totally suspect of her then. I asked if she had a contract and she said she would send it . I asked to see the puppy , possibly FaceTime since she was on iPhone , she made an excuse and assured me she would send a video with the contract later that day , it never came . I emailed her the next day agin no response , and yet another day no response. I really feel it’s a scam and my questions scarred her away . I wouldn’t want anyone to get ripped off by them
