Our fridge needed repair. We looked up fridge repair in our area. Google gave us info that then we called to have the work done. The person said it would be 85.00 for a service call. Person named Shia Durant arrived with a tool backpack. He proceeded to act like he could fix the issue. Took out the lower freezer began to dismantle the control area etc. to then leave with the job undone with saying we needed a new water filter and that should resolve the problem. Gave him cash. Next day we tried many times to connect with him as we couldn't get the water line to work and he never responded by phone or text. His number is 503-939-4622. Our freezer was then dysfunctional and today we had to spend 350.00 for another appliance repair company to come and figure out what happened. He agreed that this guy did not know what he was doing and actually had destroyed our control panel and our freezer was stuck at -27 degrees. It was definitely a scam. And please be aware of this person.
