I was approached by a woman named *** *** on Facebook for the company Leapforce that has been recently rebranded as Appen. She somewhat explained the job and then even though I told her that I wasn't even sure that I was interested in the job she sent my info to an interview agent. I went ahead to an online interview in Google Hangouts and it was littered with grammatical errors and double talk. They asked me for my bank info, pictures of the front &back of my liscence and of my social security card. I stupidly gave them the info thinking it was a legitimate job. They told me that I would get company funds to pay for my equipment but that I would have to wait until Monday for it to be deposited into my account. This was Saturday February 8th. Today is Monday February 10th. There was nothing deposited into my account and so I messaged them and asked about it. I was informed that I would have to do a test job using my smartphone before I would even get those funds to buy the equipment. I got upset as you can imagine at the info that they told me since they had told me different. I asked them three different times to delete my information from their system as I would not be continuing in their employment. They refused and kept telling me to keep calm and be patient with them. I told them again that I no longer wanted the job.

Okay;An Alex Baker, had sent me a check;in the amount of $2450.00.He went on to say, deposit this check, and once all clears, you'll to visit 'Walmart, and mystery shop.Keep $200.00 for your expenses. When I went to the Bank,I found out,it was fraudulent. He sent me another check.I kept this one,and if you,and your constituents need it,I 'd be glad to forward it to you!

A man name *** *** who claims to be the Leapforce Assignment Co-ordinator contacted me thru text message and told me that he wanted me to be a secret shopper for the company. They then sent me a check for $2,450. Told me thru text message only what my assignment would be. When I called the number to ask a few questions I keep getting the voicemail with the fake identity on it. When I googled the addres from when they sent the mail it says the that address is for Panda Express! No body will return my calls and plus the area code 503 originate in Oregon.
