Hello, I recently started a cleaning service. Right after I registered the company for the state tax, I received 3 letters in the mail. 1 from a place called Labor Poster Compliance (the one this report is on). 2 for the certificate of good standing request form (also scams). The first is from a place called Business document service, and the second coming from a place called PA Certificate Service. My first thought was to call the number on the labor compliance notice. When you call the number it is a person at home that is claiming to be working remotely. When I asked what the business name is the women responded "this is Labor Compliance" I asked her why they didn't have a website or any listings online and the women responded "we offer our services to people that need the Labor compliance poster." The women didn't try to prove the company in any way. I confronted the woman on the location of the company, I told her that I googled the address and there is no such company in the plaza they listed and I told her this is a scam and the women was fumbling her words and when I told her, so this is a scam, she responded "mam all you have to do is fill out the form and mail it in and you will receive your documents". please let people know that this is a scam. No one should have their hard earned money taken from them, ever. I have disclosed a picture of the form sent in the mail. Please re blackout the parts that could have sensitive information to my company thank you so much.

Received letter stating to pay $79.25 document fee for posters to be in compliant with Labor laws and are payable by 08/12/2021 or can be fined $7000.00. These posters are free and aren’t required for a sole-proprietor.

I received a labor law compliance notice in the mail stating that if I didn't purchase a poster in the amount of $79.25 I could be fined in excess of $7,000 for not having this poster.

I looked it up and found out this is too a scam along side the Certificate of Status Request form scam.

Business targets new businesses with fake invoices regarding labor law posters.

As an LLC sole proprietor, I am not required to have a labor law.

There is no email or website associated with this business and I like for them to stop sending me fake invoices

This agency sent this letter out on 1/28/2021. It stated that I needed a 2021 Labor Law Poster in my establishment regardless of having 1 employee or 1000. It stated that I needed to send $79.25 by 2/7/2021. I did send it not being aware of this being a scam.

they sent letter saying to have my business be compliant, I was required to purchase "labor posters" to put up in my place of work. letter is somewhat threatening. They say form must be returned by 2/4/21 and posters cos $79.25

It doesn't make it sound like a service but more of a demand!
