Wow this happened to me as well. I hired her for my September 2024 wedding and she completely ghosted me after my wedding. She sent me the 20 photos for our “sneak peek” but then nothing. I reached out to her after a few months asking where the rest of my album was and she stated she thought she had sent them in October (she did not). I tired reaching out to her multiple times through all contacts I had and through all social media platforms. It seems she has deleted everything or changed contacts. I ended up making a complaint to the Attorney Generals office but didn’t get too far. She’s honestly not the smartest tool in the shed because she literally came and did the work of shooting my wedding. Like at that point you did that hard part, just give me the pictures and move on. I’m sad that I won’t ever see those memories but am even more saddened that this has happened to so many people.

I booked Kyla Cortes as my wedding photographer for October 2024. I paid her a deposit of $330 in 2023 and paid the remaining $330 in March of 2024. Leading up to the wedding it was very difficult to get ahold of her as she had deleted her photography website and email address and we had to search for a LinkedIn profile to find a different email address to even get her to respond. She showed up to the wedding, took photos, gave us a sneak peek late and then never followed through with granting us the rest of our gallery per our contract. I have messaged her on Facebook, emailed her, and texted her and have received absolutely no response. We have maybe 20 wedding photos and that was one of the things I was looking forward to the most. I wanted to be able to pass those photos down and enjoy the memories. She has failed to uphold the contract she has written and she has failed to return my money.
