Type of a scam: Rental

I was looking for a car rental place and their number popped up and they acted as if they were booking me a car rental and said they needed a $130 deposit to hold the reservation and it would go towards the rental when I got to the location they told me to go to it was a enterprise and they didn’t know about anything I was talking about so I called the company back and they said they were going to give me a refund and I thought it was strange that he said he needed the remaining balance on my card to do the refund so just to see if it was a scam I told them a balance and took the money off my card to see if they would try to take more money and they did try to take more and hung up when I told them that I caught on to them
