I ordered a classic linen shirt men's large, from a NY based company. I received a 100% polyester shirt from China (delivered from UK) which appeared to be a women's large. I contacted the company, who advertises quality and satisfaction guaranteed, to return the product. Initially they offered me an exchange for a comparably priced product from their website. When I declined this they offered a return IF I paid the return shipping cost to the UK. Their website states ""Returns due to defects, damage, incorrect items, or incomplete orders will not incur any return fees." They then offered me 50% shopping credit on their website or a 15% refund with the option to keep their inferior product to "give as a gift, donate to charity, etc." Again, this is unacceptable. When a business sends you an incorrect/inferior product, it should be incumbent upon them to correct the issue with no additional cost or loss to the consumer.

Women's online clothing shop advertises that they are closing down due to retirement of older couple. (Picture shown of couple is used on multiple other sites.) Clothes advertised as upscale. First sign of scam that I regrettably ignored was an international charge on my credit card. Received clothing that had no tags except size and that appear cheaply made. Try to return. This is where they scam you! While clothing arrived from California, returns must be made to China. You must pay for returns. Cost is prohibitive. After many back and forth emails with customer service, they offered me 15% refund. No phone number is given on their site. When this happened to me, I checked further and found multiple complaints against them. I gave up as I assume many other consumers do.

They are still operating even with these complaints. Very discouraging.

The item bought was not as described or shown in picture
The website says returns guaranteed if not 100% satisfied
I had to follow instructions to get the ok to return such as take pictures and then once ok'd was to to fill in form for *** to deliver with tracing.
The *** form did not allow information to be added (ie postal code not accepted)
I went to *** store to get help. They gave me a phone number to ***. I called, they quoted the price to return of over $100.
