Paid $350 deposit for a table set never received

I paid $350 deposit for a table set that Kent has always an excuse for not delivering ! I paid in November 2021… Unbelievable! I really hope I would have seen this before ! I really hope that someone is going to shut down his account in Facebook marketplace! His phone number is +1 (225) 955-4166.

I hired Kent in Oct. 2021 to Build my cabinets and some other furniture. Paid him $3000.00 deposit. A contract was drawn up by him. In this contract, if he was not complete with the work by December 10th he would refund all my money. Well, of course nothing at this point has been done. Every tine is supposed to come out him has some excuse ! He’s sick got COVID-19, bleeding out of his veins in the hospital about to have surgery blah blah blah little does he know I was able to call the hospital, and they never had anyone but his name in that hospital his aunt died his cousin died his grandmother died he hit a deer his truck broke down he shows up to my house on December 24 on a moped saying that my cabinets are done he’s just waiting on us to tell him when to put them in needless to say he was supposed to be there for Thanksgiving to put most of the stuff in because we were trying to be ready for Christmas so here we are February 15, 2022 and all he brought to my house with someone by twos that looks like a bunch of sticks I requested for my money back, and he refuses to give it back to me because he says it’s not contract God and that I wasn’t ready for him. The man is obviously taking deposits and that’s how he’s making money I went online and found tons of complaints on him wish I would have known beforehand whatever you do not use him and do not give him any money he is full of all but I will be having him arrested, and I will not stop till I get my money back! He has messed with the wrong person this tine ! I flooded in 2016, and it has taken me almost 6 years to get back home, I do not need crap people like him getting in my way ! He is an App piece of c[censored] he needs to go to jail for everyone that he’s messed over, and I will make sure that he does if anybody would like to get in touch with me So that we can help each other put him in jail and make him stop this game he’s playing please feel free to call me I do have about 10 people already that have come forward phone number is 225-241-6670, thank you.

Deposits are required to create custom furniture pieces (understandable), but waiting several months and not sticking to the drop off times offered. Promised items to be dropped off on several locations, but Kent claims to have "medical issues" including but not limited to cutting finger on saw, Covid19, pulled back, broken vehicles, etc. He doesn't keep up on his deal. Offered several months ago to give refunds to people, but has since removed those posts from his page.
