Type of a scam: Employment

I had been applying for jobs and was contacted by Kings Construction via text. I didn’t remember applying for this job specifically because I was applying to so many but the guy told me O had apply and they wanted to get some info. He told me to email my resume and I did. He responded with an email with a weird font with more details about the job and asking was I still interested. I responded “I am interested in this position” then I get another email with more info about the job and asking me to click a link to take a test then I started thinking…the original email said they wanted to invite me for an interview but why would you be willing to interview me and ask for my resume again? That’s not totally abnormal b/c some jobs that I’ve worked with in the past have done this as well but what gave it away is, you want to interview me to consider me for the job but before interviewing me, you have asked me to take a test to “fill out work documents”…when was I hired that would require me to fill out work documents. Type of a scam: Employment

I was contacted by "Suzanne Walker" claiming to by from, Kings Construction Inc, a company I applied with on LinkedIn ( I have no record of applying at this company). They had a job offer that was well suited to what I was looking for, at a rate of pay that was good, but not so good to immediately raise red flags for me. All of the normal things I watch for (email links to a real company, company has stuff to go look at online, etc) looked good at first glance.

I sent them my resume and took their "test" for employment. That test was the most vague "test" I've ever asked to submit for any position, including which banking institution I used. Red flags were going up all over the place. Today I got a "job offer" from this phony company that is not something any real company would send.
