Targeted ad on social media advertising a huge sale, so I purchased 12 items totaling to $43.18. The shipping tracker stated it was delivered using “other” carrier and would not show images of the items I ordered in the email. The order was never delivered.

I came across an ad on Facebook, profile appeared verified and everything. It was a brand I have heard of and wanted to purchase and it looked like a clearance sale that regularly happens most places. Upon further investigation after ordering it seems to be fraud and impersonating a popular brand of gym clothing. Requested to cancel my order but never got any info back.

It was an advertisement for a reputable clothing company (or posing the be so) for a big flash sale and they even mimicked this companies website exactly.

I unfortunately didn’t initially notice the URL was different.

I have yet to receive any products still, but I imagine if I do actually get anything they will be a complete knock off.

Posed as an Instagram page I already follow claiming to have a huge sale where you can get so mamy clothing items for a certain dollar amount. The page was set up exactly like the original website so you couldn't tell it was a scam, very believable that it was an actual sale. That is until you made the purchase when the scammer name came back as "thenewclothes". But it was too late, I had already submitted payment.
