I was sent an email from Keeley Remaekers who supposedly work as a recruiter for Malone Healthcare Omaha, NE. The positions were Admim/Data Entry/ Customer Service paying $40-$45 an hour. I thought this was to good to be true as far as the pay. So I got the telephone# from online to see if this place existed and if these remote positions were genuine. I actually spoke to a woman who answered as if she was the receptionist for Malone Healthcare and I proceeded to ask if this was a real company with real remote positions and she asked if I was seeking a medical position and I said no but I received an email concerning remote position for Data Entry and she said oh yeah someone else phone in for a similar position. I asked her did she know Keeley and Alan Woodham and she said yes he was in a meeting but Keeley was there but I never spoke to her directly. All in a nutshell I was given a link to download Telegram to do an interview with Alan Woodham, which happened then I was sent an offer letter that was signed by the President of the Company. Alan said I would be sent a check to purchase a laptop that would be provided by the Malone Healthcare in order for me to do the Data Entry. I received this check along with a letter from the so call CPA Mike Olsen of this company with specific instructions to email him at [email protected] for authorization. I immediately called the bank that was on this cashier check ARVEST Bank. I spoke with a representative who confirmed that the account was not one of theirs. Thank God that I didn't do anything with this check other than report it to the bank's Fraud Dept. and now BBB. These companies have got to made aware of these scams because they are using employees, company's address, phone# and what appear to be the actual letterhead. Please get this information out to everyone to be aware of these scammers that are using Indeed, Linkedin etc. to commit fraud against individuals who are truly looking for employment opportunities that fit their needs, to help take care of themselves and families. How awful it is to bring harm to so many people and get away with it. Thanks for your help1
