Fake data entry job on ZipRecruiter with fake check scam
I was told to download the Telegram app and reach out to @alexander_ambartec to set up an interview. Shortly thereafter I participated in an interview with this alleged hiring manager. I was emailed new hire docs by said manager including job offer letter, code of conduct, I-9 and W-4. I was then sent a check for a large amount of money meant to cover costs of new employment software and hardware. Once the check was deposited a standard policy hold went into place and the hiring manager requested that I use a cash app to send a down payment to expedite the start of my training.
