Hi My name is Dave Leon and I posted 2 reviews on here and cannot get them off of here. This was all a big misunderstanding and I wish to have the reviews taken down but I’ve tried to contact them. Anyways if you are reading this, please disregard my two reviews above.

Was hired as a subcontractor to perform work for this company. After the project was completed, the paint contractor was paid by the general contractor. The paint contractor agreed to meet me to pay but she never showed up and she disconnected her phone the very same day I talked to her

After finishing the project and getting paid by General Contractor Mindy was to pay me 30.00 per hour for 45 hours work and material cost of 100.00
She had phoned me to meet me where she was to be paid only she did not show up to pay me.
My labor cost are 1350.00 plus 100.00 for materials

Good afternoon! This is Mindy Harvey owner at Kansas City Painters! We did not do the job due to lead paint and asbestos and I told you of the issue and you wanted to proceed anyway and put my crew in danger! You didn’t notify the tenants so I did! I had to go out there 3 different times and was about 40 minutes from Kansas City! I kept the $500 deposit for the materials, time, mileage etc for me and my crew! We do not work for free! The scammer (Mindy Harvey) responded to an interior paint job I had at a rental property. Mindy and a helper completed the job and I paid them via check. I then contacted Mindy about another job at a rental property and she responded, a duplex. Mindy went in person to provide a quote for both sides ($1000.00 / side) Total of $2000.00 for entire job. She asked for part of the payment up front in which I provided a deposit of $500 via (CashApp). She showed up 3 days later with a crew that would not do the job for some reason. She called to let me know and I asked for my refund. It's been 3 days and I have not received my deposit back nor has she answered any of my texts or calls. After looking the company up on the internet (URL provided) I noticed it does not list an address or zip. Please help!

Wow! This guy! He did a job for me!

Dave Leon of Dave Leon Painting just finished this wall in our house.
He told us he has been painting for 20 years, then 25 years, then 35 years!
After doing a background check on this guy, it appears he hops around from state to state and women to women claiming to be a painter, scamming people and women for money! Please be very careful of this man! He calls himself Dave Leon Painting.
It has splotches all over it that weren’t there before. These are not light reflections, by the way.
He is telling me that those are wall imperfections. No way, that is right. Right?
Paint is supposed to be matte. He painted with satin to touch up those spots weren’t there. So the flatter paint should do a better job, not worse, of hiding the imperfections.
I would not use this scammer! He probably scammed this woman he’s talking about!
