The entity claims to be "QB Accounting Services" which bills an annual charge for "QB Accounting & Bookkeeping Services/Payroll Services/Quickbooks Training/QuickBooks Solutions/Instant support by certified expert/Cloud Computing/QB full-service Plan with dedicated expert." I use Quickbooks Desktop Accounting software in my business (sole proprietor) and pay a monthly subscription fee. The monthly fee is increasing substantially Oct 1, 2026 as they are trying to phase out the desktop version and convert everyone to the online version. Upon talking with the account representative and indicating that I have just paid $4,200 CDN on Jun 26, 2026 for the next year of data support, it was determined that this is not legitimate. The phone number is not affiliated with QB nor is the email address. He advised me to contact my credit card to issue a fraud dispute. Since 2021 I have paid a total of over $15,000 in annual renewal fees for this "support". Attached is the 2024 form I had received from them.
