I was attempting to install a new printer using instructions provided with the unit. A screen popped up during process offering to assist with install. Assuming they were legit, I gave them access to my computer to accomplish the task. They offered tune-up & cleanup, system optimization, ad blocker installation, secure browser extension installation, system restore setup for recovery & removal of unwanted programs & applications for 1 year for $299.95. Tried to talk me into 3 year contract for more money.
