Dear
Greetings from Hot Flight Deals. We tried to reach you regarding your reservation A62H29. Unfortunately, I can't reach you about the booking.
Please call us back as soon as possible. We need to discuss a few things regarding your reservation because it is still in the Pending Process. So please call us back for confirmation.
It seemed fishy to me so I immediately called them and said I want to cancel the reservation that I decided to drive and they said no problem. Three days later my credit card got charged 2 transactions from SPIRIT one for $860.06 and another for $904.68. I immediately locked my card, but those transactions went through. They continued trying 3 more flights charges-and were declined because my card was locked. I did not give any authorization for any Spirit flights. This site looks legit but it is a horrible scam. Don't make my same mistake!

Hello,
I want to warn others about an experience I had with HOTFLIGHTDEALS.COM
I came upon them when searching for a flight with another trusted website I had used before for multiple trips. While I’m sure you are all aware when you search on sites like Skyscanner, Kayak, Priceline etc. sometimes other legitimate websites pop up and you can compare prices. hotflightdeals.com popped up right next to Kayak, Priceline, and TripAdvisor (all of which I have used before) so I thought it was legit though I’ve never heard of it.
I ordered my tickets from hotflightdeals.com from the website I was already on, I believe skyscanner or kayak. After I entered my card info I pressed “confirm” and received an email in my junk mail which I didn’t think anything of because I’ve had my legit tickets come through my junk before.
When looking closer at the email it says tickets processing and they will call once they consult final prices with the airline. I then went to their website and called them. 1st time no answer, 2nd time a guy who claimed his name is ROBIN answered and our call dropped. I called back, same guy, now I’m suspicious because when do you every call a large travel agency working with large airlines and get the same person? Almost never. I talked to him and he said our tickets are pending. I know he wasn’t going to tell me the truth but I asked him if they were actually a real company and of course he said yes and that they are just very small and he is the only one on shift.. umm ok? Suspicion rising along with my blood pressure.
After our call I do my own digging but the frustrating part is I kept finding really good reviews on them on scam websites with almost no bad reviews.
The flight line these tickets were supposedly booked through were American Airlines and I got on their website and it was the same itinerary.
I then called “Robin” back and told him I want to cancel my “flights” he assured me no problem and that they will be canceled after my tickets were processed. He stated they couldn’t be canceled right away because they were still processing but I will receive an email by tomorrow morning March 2, 2022. I sat there and thought for a bit and my gut was screaming at me that all of this is wrong.
I didn’t know what to do so I locked my bank account and called the bank and told them the situation. They assured me no pending charges were seen on their end (and I couldn’t see any transactions or pending purchases on mine either). And because I locked my account and no charges were pending from them, hotflights.com would not be able to send any transactions through. I THINK THIS IS IMPORTANT! IF YOU LOCK YOUR CARD BUT HAVE PENDING TRANSACTIONS, THEY WILL STILL TAKE MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT!
After I got off the phone with the bank I tried to call “Robin” back and got a voicemail saying his mailbox was full.
SO LONG STORY SHORT! ALWAYS CHECK SCAM WEBSITES LIKE BBB. The guys are very smart and good at hacking into other servers were they can place their fake websites next to real one!
