I tried booking legit delta flights through this site, and received an email in my junk mail stating:

Dear

Greetings from Hot Flight Deals. We tried to reach you regarding your reservation A62H29. Unfortunately, I can't reach you about the booking.

Please call us back as soon as possible. We need to discuss a few things regarding your reservation because it is still in the Pending Process. So please call us back for confirmation.

It seemed fishy to me so I immediately called them and said I want to cancel the reservation that I decided to drive and they said no problem. Three days later my credit card got charged 2 transactions from SPIRIT one for $860.06 and another for $904.68. I immediately locked my card, but those transactions went through. They continued trying 3 more flights charges-and were declined because my card was locked. I did not give any authorization for any Spirit flights. This site looks legit but it is a horrible scam. Don't make my same mistake!

Hotflights agreed to find cheap flights. After paying them over 1200, we found flights cheaper. Alex Hale agreed to refund our money within 5 BUSINESS DAYS. We have yet to receive our money. We have called several times, the representative has hung up the phone and placed us on extended holds and never return. Jennifer, has stated that she would have a supervisor return our call, to no avail. Alex, will not answer emails, nor will he return calls. No one in the company can give us straight forward answers. We just want our money, and we want others to know that this is a scam. Do your own flight searching, these people don't offer the lowest fare.

Tried booking a trip gave my credit card info was told I’d get a confirmation in 4 to 24 hours. Delta had no info about this trip and I read bad reviews after that it’s a scam. I cancelled my card and they haven’t stopped. Calling and gave what looks like fake

E tickets. I believe they tried to scam me but I cancelled my card in time

I did a flight search and the website generated several offers which the first one was from Hot Flight Deals. I "booked" the flight and received an email that went directly to SPAM folder. I called my credit card company to cancel the transaction. I received a message from Damien Martin - [email protected]

and another email was copied on the message [email protected] . I sent a message that indicated I was reporting him to ScamPulse.com and he said "Your Booking is not confirmed and we did not charge your credit card. If you want to confirm this one please let me know."

I want to open investigation because I don't want anybody falling victims to scammers.

Thank you,

I used the site to book airline tickets with American Airlines. Site did say prices were subject to change in small print but was an obvious bait and switch . I gave them all travelers names and birthdates plus all my CC information to make purchase. Was immediately called and told prices were no longer available but they could get me some upgraded tickets but price would be appox $900 more and they needed me to approve. I did not. My card had not been charged yet so I locked it. I still feel uneasy that they have so much personal information on me and other travels. Also their are no emails or ways to get back into site to cancel order even though they advertise 24hr free cancelation. I called and told them to cancel but do not have in writing yet. When I try to create an account on their site to see my bookings it says my email is already registered (but I had never created an account). I do not have a password since it was never created and there is no spot to say "forgot password" if you want to try that anyway.

HOTFLIGHTDEALS IS A SCAM!!!

Hello,

I want to warn others about an experience I had with HOTFLIGHTDEALS.COM

I came upon them when searching for a flight with another trusted website I had used before for multiple trips. While I’m sure you are all aware when you search on sites like Skyscanner, Kayak, Priceline etc. sometimes other legitimate websites pop up and you can compare prices. hotflightdeals.com popped up right next to Kayak, Priceline, and TripAdvisor (all of which I have used before) so I thought it was legit though I’ve never heard of it.

I ordered my tickets from hotflightdeals.com from the website I was already on, I believe skyscanner or kayak. After I entered my card info I pressed “confirm” and received an email in my junk mail which I didn’t think anything of because I’ve had my legit tickets come through my junk before.

When looking closer at the email it says tickets processing and they will call once they consult final prices with the airline. I then went to their website and called them. 1st time no answer, 2nd time a guy who claimed his name is ROBIN answered and our call dropped. I called back, same guy, now I’m suspicious because when do you every call a large travel agency working with large airlines and get the same person? Almost never. I talked to him and he said our tickets are pending. I know he wasn’t going to tell me the truth but I asked him if they were actually a real company and of course he said yes and that they are just very small and he is the only one on shift.. umm ok? Suspicion rising along with my blood pressure.

After our call I do my own digging but the frustrating part is I kept finding really good reviews on them on scam websites with almost no bad reviews.

The flight line these tickets were supposedly booked through were American Airlines and I got on their website and it was the same itinerary.

I then called “Robin” back and told him I want to cancel my “flights” he assured me no problem and that they will be canceled after my tickets were processed. He stated they couldn’t be canceled right away because they were still processing but I will receive an email by tomorrow morning March 2, 2022. I sat there and thought for a bit and my gut was screaming at me that all of this is wrong.

I didn’t know what to do so I locked my bank account and called the bank and told them the situation. They assured me no pending charges were seen on their end (and I couldn’t see any transactions or pending purchases on mine either). And because I locked my account and no charges were pending from them, hotflights.com would not be able to send any transactions through. I THINK THIS IS IMPORTANT! IF YOU LOCK YOUR CARD BUT HAVE PENDING TRANSACTIONS, THEY WILL STILL TAKE MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT!

After I got off the phone with the bank I tried to call “Robin” back and got a voicemail saying his mailbox was full.

SO LONG STORY SHORT! ALWAYS CHECK SCAM WEBSITES LIKE BBB. The guys are very smart and good at hacking into other servers were they can place their fake websites next to real one!
