I called Newmarket Garage doors, (who I had used in the past ) January 23 for a repair and booked an appointment for January 27. The job was completed and I paid 1446.40. No receipt was issued. Told it would be emailed. Did not receive invoice/receipt. Called Newmarket Garage Doors the same day as the repair and left a message, sent a text and sent an email for the receipt. January 28 Newmarket Garage Doors returned my call. Stated they had never booked an appointment with me and they were closed on January 27 so did not make a service call to my home. They also shared that the cost for the repair was 466.69. They said they get many calls from customers who think they are booking appointments with them but IGI Garage Doors is misrepresenting themselves as Newmarket Garage Doors. Have challenged this unethical behaviour with the Fraud Unit at credit card company who did a 3 way call with me and IGI. Fraud agent said IGI's claim to give me a partial refund of 300.00 had not been posted. A week later it was posted.Currently I remain overcharged by 679.00.
