I was hurt by a Crypto scam. This company said they would get the money back and take 10% of what they recovered.

No upfront payment. I signed a contract and recieved several texts and emails saying the same. They needed my Drivers license for ID and they asked for the routing number for direct deposit. That seemed legit.

They told me thay had found and frozen my lost money and that they could return it if I paid a $1260 fee out of pocket. No offer to take it from the retrieved sum.

I told them I would not pay them anything.

They say I am in breach of contract and that they will cancel my request, but they will charge me for the work they did. They did nothing.

This is a known scam eminating from China using SwissQuote as a false front,
