Saw an ad on Facebook Marketplace with email address "[email protected]" for 2017 Bobcat Skid Steer. Response from seller:

"The 2017 Bobcat T870....here you have some info that I pulled out from the user's manual:.....I won it after the divorce, but since I barely used it I had to leave it in a paid storage. The reason for selling it now is that I'm behind with the storage fees and I don't see any other way.......contract is with Guul Trucking LLC in Minneapolis, MN. ....Theresa Perez Medical Biologist"

I became suspicious and Googled Guul Trucking. ScamPulse.com had other similar stories of high value merchandise being sold through Guul Trucking. I did not proceed with any inquiries. If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't true!

Found a John Deere tractor listing on Facebook, communicated back and forth by email with the supposed seller and phone with a man named Ben who has a heavy accent. Wasn’t told Aguilera trucking would handle shipping and keep my wire transferred money in an escrow account for the seller till we received the tractor and signed for it. Tractor never showed up when said it would be here, got suspicious and asked for return of my money. Said it would be totally refunded in 24 hours. Never got the money. Scam started with wire transfer on April 4, tractor was to show up at my h house on April 12, never came. Several attempts to contact “seller” and Guul trucking since to no avail. Will not answer at the Guul trucking phone number and no further email contact with seller Christine Keller. They also asked for a full frontal picture of me and a copy of my drivers license front and back. This in itself concerns me. Have contacted PA attorney general office, Minnesota attorney general, Minneapolis state police, FBI, and FTC

Online Advertisement provided the Email Address of < [email protected] > to respond to an Ad for a 2017 Thor Gemini Class C Recreational Vehicle. The scammer utilized the name Theresa Blair and provided the following sales pitch:

I won it after the divorce, but since I barely used it I had to leave it in a paid storage. The reason for selling it now is that I'm behind with the storage fees and I don't see any other way. Everything looks and works perfectly and the features are everything you can possibly want from a motorhome, so I'm selling it at the final price of $28,500 ( no other taxes or fees )no finance or loan accepted!

I have signed a contract with the same company where I had it stored, called Guul Trucking LLC in Minneapolis MN ( shipping & escrow company ) to intermediate the selling/shipping process. So if you would like to know more info about how it works, please let me know asap and I will send you more photos.

Caller to ScamPulse.com public line in Bend, OR found listing on Facebook for John Deere tractor -- $45,500. Communicated back and forth via e-mail with "seller," then was put in touch with "Guul Trucking" (via website https://guul-truckingllc.com/) for shipping and escrow services. Was made to go through an "ID verification" process, then given wire transfer information to make payment. (Beneficiary info on transfer shows "Zhilong Technology Limited.") Says was provided with tracking information for tractor delivery, and was told to expect delivery today (4/4). When did not receive item, says attempted to call shipping company multiple times -- got no answer.

Consumer found John Deere tractor listing on Facebook, communicated back and forth with "seller" via e-mail. Was then referred to "Guul Trucking LLC" in Minneapolis for shipping and escrow services. Consumer became suspicious when "Guul" could not provide some requested information about the tractor in question, contacted BBB. ScamPulse.com determined that there *is* a USDOT-licensed business by this name in Minneapolis, but the website was just set up a few weeks ago, and shows a phone number / address different than that on Guul's USDOT license. ScamPulse.com advised consumer against moving forward with purchase, as site may be impersonating a legitimate, small trucking business.
