The scammer goes door to door telling individuals about him/herself and explaining how this organization they are with (Graceful Hands) helps them pay for college. Scammer also produces a document claimed to be from the state of Ohio claiming the legitimacy of the organization. The scammer will then ask you to consider donating to this organization by buying a subscription to magazines. When asked about doing an online donation to the charity, the scammer said that option doesn't exist. The scammer also will ask you to consider donating the magazines to a local youth center or charity organization. When asked what youth center the magazines are going to the scammer replied with a center that closed six years ago. Scammer only accepts cash or checks and provides you with a generic receipt with no details about the organization on it.
