The caller said that I was receiiving a one time payment of $9500 for being in good standing with the government and no criminal history. It was stated for me to go to western union to get these funds. That I would pay 200 and get 9700 in return. The lady stated her name was seri at extention 1102. For me to call her back as soon as I get to the store with the COD # WR774.

Persons called several times using multiple phone numbers and areas. (Bill One 202-201-1111, Aurora, Ny. 315-563-1145, Unknown name 11698792778, unknown name 7839833934, mobile private name 3258585773, and number as name 8775098033. I ask to speak with a manager, Then asked manger to remove me from calling list. His reply was that he could not do that he did not make all of these calls in one day I replied that I was contacting ScamPulse.com and he hung up.

I got a call, they were looking for someone named Kristen, they were saying my name wrong, and said something like "congratulations, your one out of only 1,500 chooses for being a good citizen and living right to receive a 9,000 Grant from the government." I told them I'll call them back with the number I have provided in the line above. I research, and saw it was a scam, so before I do anything, I'm turning that phone number in so someone in the law could call them and find them. Good luck everyone

They say they got grant money in your name but then say u got to pay taxes on the money. So then they say go buy gift cards and give them all the info from the card. Once u do then they send you to another step where you pay more money before you can get the grant.

I kept getting calls from a number I did not know, they called about 6 times. I finnaly called the number back. 206-400-7041 He answered the phone by saying "Government Grants Department, Hi Jessica. We are glad you returned our call." From the sound of his voice i know he isnt American. I've never spoken with these people before so I have no idea how they have my name or phone number. He told me I have been awarded a grant from the government to be used towards anything I choose and it was in the amount of 7,000$$. And I was being awarded this grant because of a survey I took back in December, well I knew right then that he was lying. This phone number they had for me is a new number, I haven't even had this number a whole week. I went on to ask him what this was all about and how I was getting this. He couldn't tell me anything but give me something he called a "Government Grant ID #" which is AVL771 and a phone number to a person who was my Senior Account Manager. The phone number is 425-245-5109. He wouldn't answer any of my questions, all he would say is that it's not a grant for school or anything in that nature. Told me to call the number right after hanging up with him. Well I didn't call the number. About 45 minutes to an hour later, the number calls back. I didn't answer, I got to thinking I did do a couple online surveys the other day but I remember they man saying the one I took was in December. So I called the number he told me to a lady answered, she hesited, like she didn't know what she was supposed to say. She finnaly says "Government Grants, uh how can I help you." I explain to the lady, who also is not American, that I was told by this man to call that number because I have been given a 7,000$$ government grant and he had given me the ID #, she asked for the id# and my name, then she paused for about a minute or two and asked for my zip code. I gave her my zip code. Then asked my name. I told her my name. Then she began to instruct me to go to Walmart and purchase a 50$ ITunes gift card, and call her back while I'm sitting there in the parking lot. That's where I stopped her, I asked her what in the world was she talking about, and again she tells me to go buy the iTunes gift card I told her that's the craziest thing I've ever heard and what the heck does buying an iTunes card have anything to do with a Government Grant, she responds by hanging up the phone.So I immediately call the other number back, as soon as he answers I say that I need his name, the name of his "business" and I want to speak to his supervisor. He puts me on hold, which I can't obviously tell he just muted the phone. Another guy gets on the phone and says "Hi Jessica" remember I never one time told these people who I was when they pick up the phone. I began to tell him the conversation with the lady, in the middle of what I'm saying he interrupts me by saying yes to get my 7,000 I have to buy the iTunes card and a prepaid card with a minimum of 50$ on it, those cards are what my money will be deposited onto. I told him that I think it's a scam and he yelled at me in another language. I told him I was reporting them for phone harassment and to the ScamPulse.com that they are running a scam, he followed by saying ok then [censored] you. And hanging up the phone. I used my husband's phone to call both numbers back to try and get their names, but no one answered either phone.

I received a phone call today, 09/28/15, saying that I have been selected for a $9200 grant from the Government Grants Department. The person calling said his name was Steven Jones and sounded as if he was from India. He said he was the confirmation officer. He then gave me a grant number of GG1008. He then proceeded to tell me to call 201-738-1502 for the disbursement of the funds. I thought for sure that this was some type of scam. I called the number and it was another gentlemen that sounded the same as the first. He asked for my confirmation code and put me on hold for a minute. He then asked me for my information. I told him he should have it all on file since I was the one who had been called and I would be glad to confirm the information they had on file.
