I contacted the website about a puppy on it named Rao. I received a text from an Amber saying the puppy was available I was sent additional photos and a video. They asked where I lived, I just told them in Indiana. When I expressed additional interest in the puppy, I received a phone call from a man with a very thick accent that told me I would need to do a downpayment to hold the puppy. I asked for a photo of the parents and he sent one right away. When I asked for further information, as in to send me an address that I can send a friend to check out the puppy before I bought it, I was told I would need to do a deposit of $500 before anyone could come see it. The deposit would need to be through either the Zelle App or Cash App. I told them no and I was reporting them. They said they didn't appreciate the joke. When looking up the address, it was a mobile home with no name of Amber listed. The phone number is listed as a Panama City, Florida landline. The email was very detailed on how the puppy would be shipped to me. I told them I work in news and see people scammed everyday. Unfortunately, I had already given them my full name and address, before I decided it was probably a scam.
