On January 2023 I started following a Facebook page "Corgi puppies for adoption" and found a breeder from Louisiana named Mike Williams. We have been communicating since because I wanted to adopt a puppy from him, but now I am having issues from breeder, and I believe I got scammed from him and a company named Global Logistics and Freight Agency located in Shreveport Louisiana. I believe they are working together because I found that both have the same phone number after putting this incident together.
The breeder sent me pictures of the puppies he had available and asked me if I wanted to adopt one and I told him yes. He told me that the puppy was only $800. I told the breeder that I could pick up the puppy around February or March since it is only a 3-hour drive from where I live, and I was going to let him know. The breeder agreed to do that but asked for a $125 reservation to hold on to the puppy for me. Before proceeding with that, I asked the breeder more questions about the puppy.
The breeder told me that that was the only thing he needed from me and when I was ready for pick up, I would only be paying $675 of the remaining $800. The breeder then asked me if I was ready to make the payment and I agreed to send the money using Zelle. He also asked me what name I wanted to give the puppy. I believe on the next day; The breeder sent me another message regarding paperwork. I told breeder that we never agreed to do paperwork and I told him that we could work on the paperwork once I have the puppy. Breeder told me that he needed to do that now for change of ownership and asked for my information. He asked for my name, address and email so I gave him my information. He then asked for a $200 fee for the change of ownership and I sent it to him and he gave me the info on where to send the money to. I sent$200 using cash app and it was transferred to "Amyy".
On February 12, I told mike I would be able to pick the puppy up by the end of the month using a phone number he once used to send me a text because I couldn't find his Facebook. I knew this was a scam due to him deleting his Facebook. He then created another one and sent me a sent me a message saying that the puppy got sick, and he needed money from me because he needed to take the puppy to the vet. I noticed something was not right and I told him that whenever agreed on this and that he was responsible for that. I noticed something was not right butat that time I couldn't pick the puppy because of work. So decided and told the breeder that I had changed my mind and can no longer have the puppy. The breeder didn't agree with me because I had already sent the money and it was not right for him to cancel. He kept asking for money but I didn't want to send more money because I had a feeling I was being scammed, and told him I could pay him in about a week. I never did. I continued to tell the breeder that I wanted to cancel and could no longer have the puppy due to personal problems and he kept refusing. I only told him that because I knew I was being scammed.
On March, I told the breeder that I was cancelling again and that I needed the refund. Breeder didn’t send the money and stated he couldn't because of "son's health issues". I only asked the breeder to give back $200 because I wanted to have an end to this and I told him I would take the money once he was ready. We finally had an agreement. I didn't block Mike Williams because I was waiting for him to refund my money.
On April I sent a message to the breeder asking for the money. He stated "Not at this time it is really difficult for me."
On April 16, I got a text from breeder stating that the puppy was at the agency and that he provided my information with them for the delivery. Breeder told me that the puppy was going to get delivered to me and told me that the agency was going to contact me. We never agreed to do this.
On April 16, I received an email from Global Logistics and Freight Agency with a tracking Number: GLF029946155919-CARGO and another email stating the delivery was on hold.

I replied to the email the next day and asked if this was required and that I wanted to call and speak with someone. They told me they only reach to clients via email. I went to the website and was trying to figure out how to get in touch with someone regarding this fee. I started using the live chat that is on the website. They asked for my email, and I asked if this fee was required. They said yes, the fee was required for them to proceed with the delivery. I asked what payment options they had. They told me they use cash app and Zelle. Then they sent me information to where to send the money. They gave me an email [email protected] to send money to Jeffrey Gerson They told me this would be refundable once the puppy gets delivered. I sent the money from using zelle and after completing this, I received another email stating:

You are renting the boxonly and upon arrival of your PUP, the money will be 99% refunded back to you.Below are various boxes and their prices. You will have to choose from the list below and pay the box fee for us to provide your pup with one and proceed to delivery to your home.

I was confused so I called the breeder to see what was going on and he told me that he never knew about this, and I told the breeder that I didn't have that much money to pay and that this would be his problem. The company then was only asking for $989 and said that that was the least they could offer. This was though the live chat. I told them I couldn’t pay that much and wanted to cancel. They then replied stating that I will have to pay an inconvenience fee of $2100 because the package was already set for delivery. I showed these messages to the breeder, and he said that I had to make the payment because he was not responsible for any delay fees... He then told me he could help me with $400 and I could do $600. I told the breeder that I didn’t have the money.
I told the company that I was only able to do $400 since that was what the breeder told me and then they replied with "I just talked with your breeder he said you'll pay 600 and he will complete the rest of the payment since it's refundable. I knew I was getting scammed again because it was weird for them to reply with that response, so I told them that they needed to talk to the breeder and not me. Then they replied that I could send them the 400 that I had to proceed with the delivery. I told them I could only pay using credit card and asked if they could take a credit card payment using PayPal. They sent me they're PayPal information and I sent them $400 using PayPal and it was refunded back immediately. They responded they only do "Friends & Family “through PayPal and sent the money.
They replied that the money never went through. The company never told me about a delay fee, so I asked them about it because the breeder told me about it. They said that yes there is a delivery fee but refused to tell me the price. On the 19th, I sent them a message asking if the money went through and stated no but I sent them a screenshot of the payment I made through PayPal and this was what I received from the live chat.

I refuse to make more payments and I keep getting emails from this company that I need to send the money. I called them SCAM and was called “pain in the [censored]” from the company.

Services were never used . We paid for a dog to be shipped as soon as we paid $500 for shipping there was no response from the seller of the dog and the freight company. I’ve reached out to the company for a refund with no response.
