I meet this Seller of MTB bike in Facebook group, she lives in US and I live in Middle east, I was so interested with the bike she posted and I began to inquire how she gonna send to my place and how the payment works. So she said, she will registered my name and address in Global Transport Agency and give me the fake tracking number GTA.73636262727.Cargo , then in the website, I can access the status of shipment, it really got me and I transfer the payment $1300 in the name of Damian Henderson jr, from Michigan since the status shown “on transit”. but unfortunately after I send money thru Western Union she disappeared and blocked me in messenger. Its so frustrating, this cargo company is scam, don’t fall for this fake website.

- Spicewood, TX, USA

It started with me noticing a website called kittens for adoption pet store with exotic cats, which are highly sought for. I asked the lady over messenger where she is located and she said El Paso. I also asked a bunch of questions trying to decide if this was a scam or not and, although I did feel deep down that it was a scam, I still got played. I chose a female ragdoll Kitty from one of the pictures, but what seemed strange was that the same kittens or the same pictures where reported on this website as available in multiple States. I was given the price of the kitty plus the shipping and told that the supposed seller of the kitty has used the Global Transport Company several times to ship the kitties and this is how it's done. The cost of the cat was to be $250 and the shipping $130. When I asked if I can contact the shipping company myself, I was given their name and then I looked them up online and called them. They seemed to have gotten back to me after I left a message and even told me to watch out for scams online and seemed initially very helpful, although the person who answered the phone (an area code not matching the location) sounded like he was from a different country, potentially Nigeria and was rather hard to understand. Things moved very quickly and I asked the supposed seller from 'kitties for adoption' if I could pay half, $185, to have the kitty shipped via van and the other half upon receiving of the cat. I was told sure. Then there were multiple attempts of collecting money from me, a story of a son who died of covid and whose cats those supposedly were, etc. Finally I paid with Zelle to some bogus account or name. The shipping company told me that since the 'person' used them before they have their address in El Paso and they will pick up the kitty right away. I said I would pay once the 'shipping company' gets to the pick up location and verifies that the cat exists. They called me claiming that 'yes' and that it is real, they have the cat and will drive it in a crate to my location, while giving me updates. The next day I got an email informing me that the kitty has been held up because of the shipping company realized that the kitty didn't have all its necessary shots so they went ahead and gave it a shot worth $100 and then the crate in which the seller sent the cat is not good and I need to purchase an emergency crate for $200. Totaling $300 if I want the kitty (that we all know doesn't exist). A typical money extraction scheme). My suspicions were immediately confirmed.
