Was searching for a Craftsmen wrench set, the web site PROTOOLSSHOP.com stated/displayed on their website they had the wrench set in stock and the price was $31.76. So I put the item in my cart, filled out shipping info, then the price changed to $44.47 (I assumed to state tax), total then including shipping was $58.42. I selected PayPal as payment, after logging into PayPal I approved the payment. Within 2 minutes of approving PayPal, PayPal sent me an email that a company called Gilligan - Steele Tasting LLC has "updated" the total of the transaction from $58.42 to $60.00. I immediately filed a dispute case with PayPal. I have sent 3 emails to the email listed, have had no reply. The contact phone number disappeared from the site after the purchase. Contacted PayPal 05/04/2026 and talked with a rep, they elevated the case after I gave them new information.
