I received an email Monday (7/18/2022)asking for payment on a past due invoice. There was no attachment and I immediately replied and asked for an invoice, and who exactly is this? She responded today with a response from one of my employees asking for an ach/wire or an eft. I spoke with the employee and he did not send/forward this to my email. The address was [email protected]. which he has never heard of. Please be careful with emails that come in asking for direct payment electronically. This is quite the elaborate scam.
