Wanted to sell some unused gift cards I found from last Christmas and I chose the wrong website, GiftyCheck.com. I entered in the card info for a $50 and a $40 gift cards and it kept saying pending review. The status never went anywhere and then I checked my gift cards to see if it was a scam, and lo and behold, all the funds on both cards were gone. I double checked the giftycheck website after a couple days and the gift cards just disappeared from my account. I reached out 3x via email to [email protected]. I should have know since it’s a Gmail email and the fact that there is NO Phone number to call. Unfortunately I was scammed out of $90 but I’m hoping to stop them from getting other people who may be more desperate for $$ or who have larger gift cards. I won’t make that mistake again.
