Same experience, just under a different company name, Ambience Healthcare. Mr. Dylan W. Owen from the the Human Resources Department at Ambience Healthcare. Sent me over to Teams and spoke to Ms. Yolanda Shaw and she went through a brief interview...day two, extended offer which looked legit. Didnt get as far as asking for payment for shipping as I found this site and sent her the link. No response after.

Applied to an indeed remote listing for this company, and received a text back from a Mrs. Gia Ben Hur who wants me to get on Microsoft Teams to interview. Felt fishy so I looked at the comapny's website and found they aren't hiring. Asked Mrs. Ben Hur if she could somehow verify she's with GIE Medical, and haven't heard anything else.

I received a text from 209.356.9106 from Gia Ben-Hur. ((Text received: Good morning, I am Mrs. Gia Ben-Hur from the Human Resources Department at GIE Medical. I hope I am in direct contact with ____?)). She gave me directions to download MS TEAMS and speak with Sarah Evans about the position. Here is some of the interaction ((Before we proceed, I would like to learn more about you. This would help me categorize you and best interview you. I am Ms. Sarah Evans, age 48, the interviewer for GIE Medical. I am part of the recruitment team. Please introduce yourself briefly and include your name, state, and city.

To facilitate the seamless delivery of the working equipment to your designated house address, there is a corresponding shipping cost of $250. We kindly request that you make this payment directly to our trusted vendor. This step ensures the efficient processing and shipment of the essential working materials. Your cooperation in this matter is highly appreciated)). Sarah Evans had me meet her on MS TEAMS three different days to discuss the job. She got my full name, address, phone number and email in order to be able to send me the working materials. Once, I told her that I didn't have the $250 for the shipping costs, she stopped responding to me.

Very elaborate scheme over three days time using text, email and letter of offer and MS TEAMS.

I’ve been speaking with a dr. Albert Walter who has hired me for customer service rep.
And he has been speaking to me through Microsoft teams. He stated that I will be receiving a check via fedex or usps to pay for the equipment that they will provide. And I’ve asked him why send me anything if the company is paying for it and providing. I’ve asked if this was a scam and straight ignored my message but continues to say you will be trained on Feb 5 2024.

I’ve been receiving there messages as well I got a text message from a similar number and have been corresponding through teams. Now this isn’t unusual to me because I got a job the same way before and it was legitimate. Now what I don’t like is I haven’t spoken to anyone vie the phone or video. Which would ease my mind. But I’ve been feeling uneasy like something isn’t right about this. I researched some more and some more and found this and now I know why. Everything the previous people said is exactly what happened for me. I’m extremely disappointed because I was looking for something to switch into asap. But I’m glad I found this site so I can discontinue contact.

I received a text message from a 209-356-083 number EDWARD J DIXON RECRUITING DEPARTMENT regarding different types of positions this company GIE was hiring for. They said immediate refill and training were available. I was told the Microsoft Team app is where the interview would take place. which a DAVID KAREAS began the interview. Long story short, I contacted on LinkedIn a lady in marketing who works for the actual GIE MEDICAL company and asked if they were hiring at this time she wrote me back and this was her response... "No, we are not hiring. This is a scam! Please report to authorities, as this is happening at a frequent rate and the men try to get payment for “company equipment” after a candidate accepts a role.
I’m sorry that you received this." Please be aware... they sent an offer letter through my email and had the logo and everything "seemed" to be in order

Offering employment saying they're hiring remotely. Everytime I've been contacted like this offing a job through text or email I get a feeling it isn't legit. I need to talk to someone in person at some point before I just hand person that kinda of info. But a different person who might not think like it could be considerably different. They are using Microsoft teams as well. Legit services for they're scam. .
