I received a text message today (2-19-2018) at 1:13 PM that read: Hello (My name), I am Deborah Noza, Hiring manager for (GE Healthcare). We wish to inform you that your resume has been reviewed and you have been selected for an interview for Administrative Assistant and Data Entry. Kindly Reply back if interested.

So I replied I was interested.

She wrote back : This is a Data Entry and Administrative assistant job position and it is strictly an online and work from home job the working hours are flexible and you can chose to work from anywhere of your choice, the pay is $35 per hour during full working hours and the training is $22 per hour and you will be getting your payment weekly via check or direct deposit working 30 to 40 hours weekly, if you are employed you are going to be working as a full employee and not an independent contractor. Benefits: Health, Dental, Life and AD&D Insurance, Employee Wellness and 401K plans. Paid Time Off and Holidays with Generous Company Discounts. The job briefing/Interview will be conducted online via Google hangout, Do you have this on either your computer or smartphone?

That was the end for me. I noticed so many things wrong in what she texted me that I wanted to see if anyone else had this problem so I got on the ScamPulse.com website to check and see if anyone else reported this before. I am so glad I did because my suspicion was correct. It is a SCAM!

Was contacted via text message to google hangouts for a job briefing and interview with supposedly with the human resources lady. After a short interview she said welcome to Ge Healthcare. The next day I received a $2550.77 check to deposit in my bank to procure the equipment I would need to start. Unfortunately I feel for this as I am disabled and not working for months. I deposited it. Sent the money I was told to do via Western Union.

They kept sending checks for me to send to a vendor for my equipment. Then the checks started to be reversed for non payment. The lady got all mad when i told her the bank said the check was fraudulent. Said they would take care of it. Never happened. now because of me being stupid they got away with my money.

I was contacted by a person claiming to be a hiring manager for GE Healthcare; they asked me to sign in to google hangout to do an interview. After the interview I was told I was selected for the position, and I would need to a bank account that I can us (a mobile deposit app) to deposit a check to buy the materials to start working from home. I was emailed a cashier check in the amount of $3800.00 and told to deposit it. I had not seen this done before so I when to my bank and asked was this legal. The bank manager asked me to contact this person and ask for a live check to be sent, and I did they in turned sent a live check in the amount of $7589.00 drawn on a different bank with the same instructions; deposit it using my (mobile app) so the money would be available immediately. That way I could bank the materials from their vendors and start work. When I questioned them about not having any new hire paperwork, or anything showing that I was employed by GE healthcare; their response was it was coming with the materials I was to purchase. When I said this wasn't sounding right to me and I was going to contact the ScamPulse.com and the FBI the person that had contacted me quickly end all communications.
