This website uses an ad at the top of search engine results to trick people into thinking it is the Global Entry application website. Instead you are taken to their website and charged more for the same service. They get all of your personal information, too.

When attempting to apply for global entry the first website that appeared in the search indicated that it was the customs and boarder protection global entry application. It was not. The website was entitled GE assist

- Lawrence Township, NJ, USA

After googling "Global Entry application" the scam site appeared as the first entry. I mistakenly believed it to be the U.S. government's customs and border protection website. Because I believed it to be the U.S. government website, I provided sensitive information: credit card information, countries visited over the past 5 years, current and previous passport numbers and valid dates, employer information, and drivers' license number. The scam company appears to pay the U.S. government the $100 fee, then keeps the $159 processing fee. However, no value is actually provided by the scam company. The applicant still has to go to the U.S. government website and complete the application. The scam company provides information on how the customer can access the U.S. government website. I sent emails to the company approximately 12 hours after original submission, after realizing my mistake, asking for a refund and asking for all information about me to be deleted. I have not heard back from the company regarding these requests.

Thought I as using a site to sign up for Global Entry. Ended up finding out it was a scam site.

THIS SITE LOOKS LIKE IT IS CONNECTED TO THE GOVERNMENT - IT IS NOT! I WENT TO THE GOV.ORG SITE TO SEE IF MY APPLICATION WAS PROCESSED AND THERE WAS NO APPLICATION FOR GLOBAL ENTRY AT ALL. ALSO - I WAS NOTIFIED BY MY CREDIT REPORT THAT MY EMAIL ADRESS WAS ALL OF A SUDDEN IN THE "DARK WEB", A DAY AFTER I FILLED OUT MY "FAKE APPLICAITON. " DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

Website looks legit and it's a scam. I have to now file fraud report. Any website with GE ASSIST should be avoided.

I thought this was the application for global entry.

It is not.

It is a scam where they take your sensitive information, charge you, and don't submit your information to global entry for processing.

Attempted to apply for Global Entry through US government but was taken to another scam site where I gave all my personal information and paid the fees, which were higher than expected. Got some email confirmations and started researching application status. The contact us email took me to a strange website in Israel with a person’s email - not a US government site.

Thought I was applying for Global Entry

Do not apply to this website if you are looking for Global Entry. This is a scam website asking for your personal information (passport, drivers license, credit card, address). When searching, this website appears as an ad as "Global Traveler Pass" and is not legitimate.

I applied for global entry, not realizing this wasn't a legit website.

It's global entry - so they have ALL my information.

I'm terrified.

This company looked legitimate. Unfortunately, I fell victim and added a lot of personal information (Passport ID, License, address, employer info etc.) before realizing this was a scam and a fraudulent company. I have now opened myself up to identify theft which is frightening. I didn’t realize this until I was being overcharged. Sadly, my credit card information and personal information has been compromised. I alerted my credit card company and will dispute the charges once the payment processes.

I attempted to renew my global entry along with my children through a third party website that looked like the official government website.

I attempted to renew my global entry and was directed to a third party website impersonating to be the official global entry service.
