“Good morning Joseph,
Precisely to prove that it is real, I have a contract with a reliable company to take care of everything on my behalf. You have probably heard of them because they are very well known. I'm a flight attendant for American Airlines and because I'm away most of the time I won't be able to deal in person. I'm from Omaha, NE and before leaving I took the motorhome with all the documents to a logistics company, GBWEEquipments LLC. The folks from GBWEEquipments LLC told me they can help me sell the motorhome using a service offered by them. They can deliver the motorhome directly to your address, handle all the paperwork and payment. Additionally you can get a 5 day inspection period, so you can test/inspect the motorhome the way you want, making sure there are no issues with it before closing the deal. If you decide against keeping it at the end of this trial period, although I'm sure you'll love it, you can return it. Don't worry about shipping fees, I'm responsible for that.
If you want to get more info about their services and how it works, I can register you on their platform as my potential buyer and starting from that moment you will be able to talk directly with them. All I need is your full name, shipping address and phone number and we can get the ball rolling.”
At this point he moves it over to me and despite my IMMEDIATE statements of various red flag...I appease him for a bit. I chat with Patti and she gives the company my information and they send me a contract. I request more photos and they oblige. I called the number on the company site and though they didn’t answer, they called right back apologizing for missing a call from my number. The woman on the other line spoke English in a very heavy accent and was very nonchalant…couldn’t care less if I believed them or not.
They sent me an invoice with all of the information about the transaction and the rv as well as the escrow contract for me to sign. I am to inform them one hour before I wire the funds so that they can send me the wiring instructions. They said I can use the bank of my choice, which I stated would be Wells Fargo and they stated they were fine with that. They say they are the escrow agents for this transaction and will hold the money, deliver the rv on the sellers dime and I have five days to decide if I want the rv or not. After the five days, the money will either be given to the buyer or back to me.
I have yet to give them money, but they are waiting on my call.
