On 12/18/23 I contacted this company which I found through a web search to look at a garage door opener which was not working. They sent out a technician who indicated that we needed to replace the unit. On 12/21/23, Victor Salgado, from The Ultimate Garage Door Pros, (714) 909-6100, [email protected], came to our home to install the unit. The next day we had issues with the garage door opener, and I called to have to have some one come out to repair. I was told someone would get back to me with the information on when they were coming. I waited all day, called multiple times and was told that they were expediting my request, but know one called me back. At 8pm I received a text telling me that someone would be here between 2-4 in the afternoon on 12/23/23 to repair the unit. No one showed up and when I called, I was told they would have someone get back to me, but no one did. After several calls, I was transferred to a women named Roxeanne, who told me that someone would be here in 30 minutes. They did come and supposedly repaired the unit, but on 12/25/23 the unit again had the same problem. I have been trying since 12/26/23 to get someone out and am constantly told someone would get back to me. I received a call and was told that they would have someone here the next day and that someone would get back to me with a time. I have heard nothing. At this point I was beginning to suspect that this was not a legitimate company. When I searched on the web, they no longer showed up. I called this morning and asked for their mailing address, and they refused to give me and address or a website, telling me that a manager would get back to me. I believe they are not legitimate and are running a scam.

Starting doing repairs without a fix price and was alluding to the fact that it lobber and parts were going to be around $600 dollars but invoiced me for $1165.06 in the end. I was asking as he was doing the work and he said he was going to give me a good deal in the end. He over charged for the parts but felt committed since everything was installed.

This guy showed up at my house when I needed a garage door repair. I was expecting someone else. He said he worked for the person I was waiting for. I accepted this without verifying it. First mistake. I have no idea how he got the information that I needed a repair. The name he gave me was Alex Zetos.

My door would not close properly. He said I needed springs and quoted me a what I now know was an extremely high price. I said ok. He put in the springs. When he finished I activated the door and it made loud popping noises and shook...it had not done that before. Another mistake on my part. I paid him anyway....$1423.00. I offered a credit card but he said it would cost more for the card and I gave him a check. Mistake. It was late in the day....banks were closed. By that night he had cashed the check probably at an all night check cashing place.

I had a reputable person come out 2 days later. The honest person said not only did he put in the wrong size springs but he did not place the the drums where they should be and the cables were not placed correctly which caused them to rub against the side of the door. The cables were even off the drum. The entire job was done wrong. If I had not redone the job with the new company eventually the motor would have died because the springs were so weak compared to what was needed that too much stress was put on the motor. He would not give me the name of his company or license number or name of his boss. The receipt was generic with no address. Again, my mistake.

I had asked about a new lock for the door .... he quoted 275. The honest company charged me 65.00

He told my his bosses name was Rico Margani. Another worker named Mario Pacheko said it was Nick Amir and that they were located in Sherman Oaks, maybe on Van Nuys Blvd.
