Type of a scam Online Purchase
During her search, she discovered a website purporting to sell legitimate Jellycat products, known as fuzzyfriends.com. While this website may indeed sell genuine Jellycat products, the one purchased by my mother was clearly counterfeit.
The tags on the counterfeit product were significantly different from those of our legitimate Jellycat products. The paper quality and color of the tags also varied. Fortunately, we were able to locate another Bartholomew bear at a local store. Upon comparing it to the counterfeit product purchased from fuzzyfriends.com, we were able to discern its differences.
The website fuzzyfriends.com is using official Jellycat images from the Jellycat website to promote counterfeit products.
