“Agent” Anthony and another young man approached me in my driveway and described their non-profit organization’s work with youth. He said the company is called Future Leaders. I agreed to donate $200.00 via Zelle to phone # 513-502-7490. I received a receipt from “Future Leaderz” for $200.00. Somehow three (3) payments of $200.00 each were deducted from my account. I called Anthony the next day at the 513 number. I also called the number on the receipt (440-494-4382) and spoke with another man. Both acknowledged the error and promised to refund the $400.00 promptly. Anthony has been texting me telling me he’ll refund the $400.00 soon but it’s been almost a month. The 440 number is no longer in service. US Bank investigated my fraud claim and found no error on their part with the three payments. Anthony knows this was a mistake but refuses to refund the $400.00 he has wrongfully retained.
