- Las Vegas, NV, USA • Aug 06, 2026

I was contacted by this company and they saying I was hired, a that time, I send to many applications in different places, so I believed I was successful with one, I send my information like ID, one pic of me holding my DL, on their web site I enrolled my bank account to be able to receive my future earnings, which never happened, I spend money on supplies, so I received in my home multiple items and the job was print a new page to put it on top of the boxes to send it to another person, I received 2-3 packages at day, I needed to take pics about the content and make sure nothing was missing or damaged. Take them to USPS and send them, What awful experience and I hope they can go to jail. I would like a refund for damage and my stolen information.

- Austell, GA, USA • Jun 23, 2026

I was emailed about a job opportunity as an inspection specialist through Freight Metro Inc, stating that I would be making $4,200/month + $20 per shipment. Avg: $5,000 monthly for the job. The job included receiving packages and inspecting them for quality and assurance to then repackage and ship back out. I was then talked to over the phone about the position and was given email confirmation about onboarding and w4 info. They ask for your ID (front & back) and a selfie with it as well and have you fill out payment information.

- Diberville, MS, USA • Jun 23, 2026

College Student, found me on indeed and hit me with an offer I couldn't refuse with 4200 monthly +20 every commission, thought it was a little sketchy but was too desperate not to refuse. Looked on the official website and it was riddled with buzzword after buzzword. The application process was extremely easy and there was zero training involved, I have barely any job experience and they accepted me immediately. Also, the location in where the business is located is for listing on Realtor.com. Weird asks as well like to take a picture with ID and Face verification.

- New Britain, CT, USA • Jun 17, 2026

Freight Metro INC reached out with a fake manager offering amount of 4200 every thirty days to pick up packages. And we will ask for your ID, a picture of you with your ID, and send you a W4 form to fill out your information. After you do all that they’ll set you up with an after you complete all those tasks, they’ll set you up with a dashboard. They’ll keep calling you from different numbers. 406-430-2125, 406-645-5410 and 406-501-4082.

- Greer, SC, USA • Jun 16, 2026

She emailed me about the job opportunity after I had applied on Indeed first. Took a while to get back in contact with them because they wouldn’t answer the phone. She went over the job description “inspection specialist”. I’ll put below a picture of what she asked for as well.

- Crystal Lake, IL, USA • Jun 16, 2026

I found a job on indeed and was contacted via my phone number about a potential job opportunity. When describing the job they remained vague/suspicious about the job. The job was to inspect packages and send them out from my own home address. I would also need to go to certain locations to receive or ship out the packages. They also offered a very large set pay and extra money for each accomplished package to be "inspected". They persisted that I go to a link to agree to the job contract and needed to send an image of me holding my ID. I never agreed to the job contract, click the link, or send them any pictures. However, they continued to contact me about the "Job Offer".

I didn’t think anything of it until my mom told me to look the company up and I had already done the paperwork and by the looks of everything I’m seeing on the internet I think I’m being targeted and my name my ssn and I took the picture with my ID and have also been shipping things out for this company but I’m not sure if I’m going to even get paid or anything

- Boynton Beach, FL, USA • Jun 15, 2026

I was asked to send a photo of my drivers license front and back and a picture with me holding it

- Tucson, AZ, USA • Jun 12, 2026

I was approached via email about an application I submitted, but I never applied. I was told to give a photo of my I.D. and a picture of me with my I.D.

- Commerce City, CO, USA • Jun 10, 2026

I received an inbound email for a job offer for an inspection specialist. I would be receiving packages to inspect and would be required to mail out packages that I received. The salary that I was offered was 4200 a month along with bonuses. None of this made sense. The emails were detailed and were frequent. It wasn’t until I googled the company and job description and found out that this was a scam.

- Sacramento, CA, USA • Jun 08, 2026

Freight Metro Inc have many numbers that won't even pick up their calls. I try to google everything about it but when I try to look at their location it doesn't seem to see them anywhere that location.

- Minneapolis, MN, USA • Jun 08, 2026

They told me about how the position consisted of having packages sent to my home, checking the packages, and shipping them out. They also claimed there was a guaranteed monthly salary and bonus. None of it made any sense. They denied knowing of a "cassandra ramirez" which was an alternative identity posted on this website from May 30th, a week and a half ago (posting this on June 8th).

- Rosharon, TX, USA • Jun 08, 2026

I was already applying to jobs through Indeed, so normally I answer unsaved numbers. This call happened to be a woman listing an “inspection specialists” job where they would send packages to my home, where I would then inspect and reship. She was very adamant about getting my ID and background check done for that same day she called. When I told her I didn’t have my ID that I would call back, she said “okay but call me back because I really want to get this done by the end of today.” Sent emails that looked legitimate. When things feel too good to be true, I did my research and am afraid to say that I was scammed. I sent the picture of my ID, and the selfie of me holding it. Beware. It is already hard finding a job these days.
