Misleading LLC registration mailings from securefilings
The mailings clearly identify -- in small print -- that the mailing are NOT from the State and are optional for me to pursue. But the large print makes the form look like an official form from the State.
The most recent form -- "Final Notice" -- says boxed at the top, "ALERT: Beware of imposter letters that have been circulating around Virginia. We are not associated with Next Step Fillings." LOL.

Deceptive final notice letter mimics official state documents
This is a very deceptive letter and a less attentive or a rushed business owner would likely be duped by this. I am not sure if it even works with the state.
