I went on Linkedin and saw a Remote Data Entry Job with flexible hours. I have a profile on Linkedin, so I forwarded my Resume to the company for the position. I was contacted by David Cioffi via email stating thank you for interest in the vacancy for Data Entry Clerk at Food Import Group. The email stated that the recruitment manager Henry Lawson( [email protected]) would be contacting me with details on the application process. Henry sent me a link to complete the application. Once that was done, he sent me another link to the online portal to complete my availability, direct deposit inro, etc. I had to send a copy of my driver license and etc for the background check with ID ME. Once all of that was completed, within a few days, i was sent a job offer stating the details of the job, compensation, etc. I accepted the offer. I then received an Employee At Will contract to sign. David Cioffi signed the contract. I sent it back with my signature. Henry then stated next steps will come from my supervisor Jeffrey Benson ([email protected]) phone 551-381-4604. He also went over job details and training and stated I will be given $1900 to my account - $600 for my training Stipend and the rest to help purchase software and equipment. The check returned, and now my bank account is in the negative. I have not heard back from either of these people.
