Federal Registration Support Services Reports & Reviews (1)

- Davis, CA, USA • May 04, 2026

Our business received a suspicious email claiming to be a “formal notification” regarding a pending review of our registration in SAM.gov. The email stated that action was required to maintain compliance with federal registration standards and implied that failure to act could result in restricted access.

The message included detailed but generic instructions to log in to SAM.gov, locate a notification, and complete a renewal or validation process. It also referenced legitimate concepts such as CAGE Code access, TIN validation, and verification. However, the email did not originate from an official government domain and instead appeared to come from a third-party entity identifying itself as “Federal Registration Support Services.” There was a link within the body of the email that redirected to a samregistration.com address which is not a government site.

We did not respond to the email and are reporting it to raise awareness for other businesses that may receive similar messages.
