I have been receiving calls for two months now from what sounds like the same man, over and over off of different phone numbers (most of them are listed above.) The man claims to work for the government each time but his reason for calling always changes. One minute he is offering financial assistance to help pay off my student loans and the next he is here to help me with my medical bills. I DO NOT HAVE EITHER. I feel like I'm being harassed and it is driving me nuts. He constantly is calling off of a different number and when I confront him about how I know it is a scam he gets very angry and yells and then hangs up on me.

Received phone call from them first claiming they were the Federal Government and I was chosen to receive a one time $9000.00 grant for free-no strings attached. I could use this on anything I wanted to except it had to be legal. They said I was chosen from a survey across the US. Operator was foreign and I had trouble understanding her. I had to call back the 2nd number(both said Washington DC) and verify this was true with her supervisor and then I would get it mailed to me. I never gave any info out-she knew my name and the zip code I lived in. I called back and the lady that answered said Hello what do you want/need-I told her I was supposed to call her back. They also gave me a 5 letter/number code to give her. When I said I was supposed to call you-she said oh yea ok give me the code-I did. She was also foreign asking me how I wanted to receive money(no info given again on my part)-very hard to understand but it got to in order to receive this money you need to go online and buy an I Tune gift card and I said I would not do that and she magically disconnected the call. They never called back and neither did I. I only called back because I have been trying to get loans/grant for my kids for college so I wanted to make sure it wasn't tied into that since they insisted they were the Federal Government.

This number just called 1206/400/7041 me and said they we're from the federal government! A woman named Kelly and a man named calvin Morgan. They said I qualify for a grant of 8,000.00 because I have been a good citizen than they said all I had to do was go Get a $200 prepaid card and call them back so they can load the money on the account and they would not take the 200 of my card! Thats when I said OK and told them I would call them back and now I'm reporting it to you guys! I'm a young woman I'm not that gulable but I would hate for this to happen to a poor old lady that's to sweet and kind. So please stop these horrible people before they scam more people thank you!

Got a call stating I was chosen to receive $7000 for not having any felonies and something else, I could barley understand because the person had a very strong accent. I kept asking for verification of said monies and the reason but he kept saying it was coming from the federal government in New York state. He wanted me to go to Walmart then call him back at the number he gave and instructed me to stay on the line as he directs me how to fill out the form and he also asked that I do not mute my phone. Told me to bring my ID and cell. He said I needed to pay 269 which would be refunded right back to me along with the 7000 and that he would stay on the phone until I had said money in hand. No money list because I did not go. Its a scam his name was Cherles Scooper phone number he told me to call back is 347-518-1454. The address he provided was 200 Independence Southwest Ave. Washington DC 20201 triple HHH building. He also gave me a code CH123. PLEASE BEWARE.

i was sent a friend request from an already fb friend. I accepted assuming they started a new account. They then messaged me with small talk and spoke of a gov grant they just received. She gave me contact info to the person to assist me in seeing if i would qualify. i gave minimal information but they said i could get a grant. It was later they asked me to wire them 550.00 and they would send me cash and later would meet with me to form the business plan and put it in motion. I became suspicious and found that my friend had not in fact sent me the fb request. I did not send any money. The name of the person who was supposedly from the fed gov was James Roberts. The address they said to wire the money to via western union was Chanel Adams from Blackwood, NJ 08012. I quit responding. The number they texted me from was 904-373-8023.

Number 202-000-0010 called me multiple times in the last few days. I had already checked and knew it was a scam. Answered one call and before he got any further than federal grant, told him I knew it was a scam and to stop calling me or I would report them. Foreign accent man indeed called multiple times after that so I again answered and told him it was a scam. He assured me that it was not and wanted to let me know I was approved for a federal grant because I paid my taxes on time, my bills on time and have never been arrested. Told him again it was a scam, he gave me a website to check him out and realize it was not a scam. He was going to call me back the next day. I had already submitted a complaint on the do not call registry site. The website he gave me did not exist. When I googled federal grants scams I went to the FTC site and called and reported it again. This was on Tues the 9th. Needless to say they called many times on Wed. Told be FTC agent not to answer or to answer and hang up immediately. I did not let him get into his spiel to hear how much money or details. He wanted to know what to do with my "file". I did not say anything as I wanted to check things out. I wanted to tell him where he could put it but did not do that. Both my landline and cell phone are on the do not call list and have been for many years.

And that I need to pay a small fee to get it from Western Union. When I go to ask questions they hang up on me. I call back to see who they are and its just a busy signal
