I contacted a supposed breeder/rescuer of Australian Shepherd dogs on Facebook, specifically from the page facebook.com/groups/7214381225320080/user/61585601045892. She had an 8-week-old pup that she took to a supposed transport company to deliver this puppy to me. The initial fees were exchanged through CashApp. The puppy supposedly landed at a North Jersey airport, where some government fee was then needed. Then the puppy had to be rushed to the vet. Then is was money for her care. The following day it was more fees.Over a four-day period, there were additional fees, a crate fee (good for only 24 hours), and more transportation fees, but no dog was delivered. I lost a total of $8,848 in this scam. I tried to contact the seller at [email protected] but got no real help.
